Child safeguarding
A safe, caring and stimulating learning environment is the first promise in our vision. This page sets out what that means in practice and how to raise a concern.

Our commitments
Every class has a teacher assigned to it, and levels are never merged, so no child is unsupervised or unknown to the adult responsible for them.
The Nursery section has a nursery attendant for extra-pedagogic needs, so young children are cared for while teachers teach.
Discipline is taught as a lifestyle — respect, time and duty consciousness — and is never a licence for humiliation or physical harm.
The school is inclusive by name and by intention: no child is turned away or treated differently on grounds of language, background, ability or means.
Results are never falsified, and we neither commit nor tolerate fraud by or for a pupil to produce good grades.
Collection and release of children
A pupil is released only to a parent, guardian or a person named by them to the administration. Where access to the campus is interrupted, classes move online rather than leaving children to travel unsafely.
Photographs of pupils
Photographs are taken at assemblies, graduations and school events. They appear in school publications and on this website only with the consent of a parent or guardian, and consent can be withdrawn at any time by telling the administration.
Raising a concern
Speak to the class teacher first if you can. If the matter is serious or urgent, go directly to the administration — in person on campus during school hours, or by telephone.
The Parent Teacher Association is also a standing forum for parents to raise matters affecting their children, and meets through the school year.
